Mirador del Norte National Park is located in the area north of Santo Domingo, a territorial division of the former National District and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
This National Park dates from 1993 when former President of the Dominican Republic Doctor Balaguer decided to start its construction.
The Mirador del Norte National Park serves as a major ecological lung in the city of Santo Domingo, and recreation and promotes the culture of conserving protected areas of the Dominican Republic.
The Mirador del Norte National Park is one of the few areas available in Santo Domingo for healthy recreation of the family and youth, which has several areas in which visitors can enjoy nature, this national park includes a large lake.
The Mirador del Norte National Park is divided into Gates, and in each of these offers visitors a variety of ways to spend a pleasant moment in it, at Gate 1 can be found several areas for outdoor games, such as basketball, and a play for baseball games.
